Have you ever had an ex-girlfriend come back to you after she picked somebody else? In today's blog I'm going to tell you what to do when she comes back from the rebound guy.
I know what you guys are going to say. “Why on earth would you want your ex-girlfriend back if she's picked another guy?” The truth of the matter is, a lot of men do.
When she comes back, the first thing you want to do is keep working on yourself. What tends to happen when they decide to come back is we fall apart. We stop working on ourselves and we start to focus more on the person because we don't want to mess up again and make her feel as if you're not that interested. It's the exact opposite. When you stay in your purpose and you continue to work on yourself it's going to make her more attracted to you.
It's when you start to get clingy and fall apart that she feels like you haven't changed because chances are there was something that you did when you were with her to make her lose her attraction for you. If you were to get clingy and needy again she's probably going to lose attraction for you just as fast as she did the last time.
Scientific studies show that women are more attracted to men whose feelings are unclear. So if you are chasing after her she knows she's got you and if you chase after her more she's going to get bored and annoyed with you. Let her do the majority of the chase because if she went to another guy then she has to earn another chance with you. She's on probation just as much as you are.
The next thing you want to do is not act cold and like you have some kind of resentment or saltiness to you. When you start to act salty she's going to feel like you're still bitter and you haven't let go of the past. You have to let go of the past in order to start something new. Chances are if she came back to you, she felt as if you were a valuable person in her life. The people that she started to date and other guys that she started to talk to weren't you. If anything, you should be excited about that, patting yourself on the back, and not upset.
You showed her your worth. It took her to date other guys to understand your worth and that's a win for you. That's a victory. I don't know why you would get upset about that. You have to be able to detach your emotions and bitterness about that because you're a high value person in her eyes and she wants to give the thing another chance.
When she comes back you have to start the courtship all over. You get no brownie points for the things that you did in the past because what a woman feels right now, she will not feel five minutes, or five months, or five years from now. What you did in the past doesn't mean anything. You have to start the attraction all over again.
This is a tough one for men because we feel as if we can do something for a woman like give her a Valentine's Day gift, order the best Christmas gift, or propose to her and give her a wedding ring and then we've got her for the rest of our life. But that's just not the case. You have to start the courtship all over again. You have to do things to make her more attracted to you. It's like you hit the reset button and you have to look at it that way.
Don't bring up any negative things that happened in the past. Don't try to uncover those wounds that you guys had in the past. You want her to associate happy loving feelings with you, not drama, negativity, and things that are just going to drain her. Women operate from an emotional standpoint and if they're getting drained by the person that they're in a relationship with, they're not going to see it as something that they want to continue.
